The Care Council for Wales is looking to upgrade our current Regulatory ICT system and its online portal to bring it in-line with advances in technology and broaden the scope to the use of the wider remit when we transition into Social Care Wales in April 2016.
We are looking for a solution to maximimse the investment in the current CRM, upgrading the efficiency and effectiveness of the existing infrastructure.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The technical, training and support expertise required, as well as the high profile and critical nature of the work and tight timescales, make this a demanding commission.
The project will be carried out by competitive dialogue tender in a three-phased approach. The timetable for the project is contained in the contract notice.
The Care Council wishes to procure a single Supplier with the expertise, experience and capacity to provide the upgrade within timescales and budget to go-live in April 2018. This means either one organisation that has the range of expertise in house or an organisation with considerable expertise in house and sub-contracting with key partners.

The contract includes initial system upgrade which will go-live in April 2018. A support and maintenance contract will run for an further five (5) years.
The support and maintenance contract may be extended up to an additional two (2) year period.
Additional budget will be made available for the support and maintenance contract.
