Blaenau Gwent & Caerphilly County Borough Councils provides a joint Workforce Development Team service for the whole social care sector within Blaenau Gwent and Caerphilly geographical boundaries. The service is seeking suitably qualifiedand experienced training providers to be commissioned for a variety of training requirements. Examples of activities located in this lot:

External Practice Assessor - to assess Student Social Workers and Approved Mental Health Practitioners.

External Practice Supervisor - to assess candidates undertaking the Practice Assessing Award.

Mentor Coach for Social Workers - mentoring and coaching newly-qualified Social Workers and other professionals in Social Services to assist their development through their first years of practice.

CPEL Consolidation Supervisor - to conduct observations of practice and provide written feedback to candidates.

QCF Assessor / Verifier - to assess candidates undertaking a QCF qualification in Social Care & Health and/or verify their portfolios.
