Newport City Council in partnership with Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB) to discharge their duties in accordance with the Social Services and Well Being (Wales) Act 2014 for Adult Mental Health clients and their carers invites tenders to establish contracts for the following services:
1) Advocacy
2) Information, Advice and Assistance
3) Counselling
4) Skills, Training and Well being services
The services will be available to adults who live within the ABHUB geographical area who have a mental health problem, or be at risk of developing a mental health problems, or be a carer for for someone with a mental health problem.

b) When a person is involved in the safeguarding process
c) Where there are provider failures or concerns
d) Where there are changes to care arrangements
e) Where a person is being assessed or reviewed
f) Individuals, whom prior to making contact with the local authority, require advocacy to support them to access that information and advice

Assistance – ensuring action is taken that will assist individuals to access appropriate care and support, or support in the case of a carer.

d) cope with depression or feelings of sadness, and have a more positive outlook on life.
