And therefore invites you to tender :
To design, manufacture, supply and install triple glazed aluminium clad timber windows and doors in accordance with the attached drawings 8815 PL110, 114 & 120 to achieve full Passivhaus and Secure by design accreditation and certification. And is to include the following :
External cills
Internal Passivhaus Window airtight tape
Hoisting and movement of materials on site including any temporary access as necessary
To undertake works in accordance with the Health and Safety at Works Act

The Contractor shall ensure that all contracts with Subcontractors and Suppliers which the Contractor intends to procure following the Award date, and which the Contractor has not, before the date of this Contract, already planned to award to a particular Subcontractor or Supplier, are advertised through the Sell2Wales portal (www.sell2wales.co.uk) and awarded following a fair, open, transparent and competitive process proportionate to the nature and value of the contract.
Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. The Contractor is required to actively participate in the economic and social regeneration of the locality and it is a requirement that at the same time as entering into the Contract the Contractor shall deliver specified targeted recruitment and training outcomes as set out in the tender documentation and other community benefits are alos set out in the tender documentation.
This requirement will ensure delivery of policies and commitments contained in the Council’s Corporate Plan and the commitment in the Procurement Strategy:

Beyond Bricks & Mortar is the Council’s community benefit initiative set up to help tackle poverty and promote inclusion. It aims to address barriers to entering the labour market and create opportunities for all Swansea’s citizens, therefore helping to lift individuals and households out of poverty and impacts on four of the Council’s five key priorities in the Corporate Plan.
