Natural Resources Wales require the provision of a framework contract for maintenance work at its Hydrometry and Telemetry sites situated in the North Wales and the Upper Severn region. The work can generally be sub-divided into three main categories:
1. In river gravel removal – Seasonal between mid-April and mid-October
2. Grass Cutting and Eel Pass Maintenance – Seasonal between April and October
3. H&T Site Maintenance – All year round as and when required

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
NRW are seeking to award a framework for the maintenance and upkeep of their Hydrometry and Telemetry sites across North Wales and the Upper Severn region. Works include site maintenance, grass cutting and eel pass maintenance, and in-river gravel removal. Maintenance of assets is essential in ensuring NRW fulfils its statutory objectives to protect the public, enhance the natural environment, whilst complying with Health, safety and Environmental legislation.
