The purpose of this indicative notice is to:-
- Identify Organisations that may wish to participate in a future collaborative tender for a Support at Home Service for Caerphilly and Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council’s.
- Notify the market of a supplier event to held on the 20 September 2018(full details below)
The future Support at Home arrangement will include –
- The Provision of domiciliary care for both adults and children
- Respite Sitting for both adults and children
Providers will be given the option to tender for one or all lots.
The new arrangement will be for new care hours only and existing care hours will remain with current Organisations if successful following the advertised award procedure.

VI.3) Additional information
The purpose of this indicative notice is to identify Organisations that may wish to participate in the collaborative tender for Caerphilly and Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council for a future Support at Home Service, with Caerphilly CBC being the lead Council for this procedure.
The Council envisages that Organisations shall have the option to decide which lot(s) they wish to apply for. The exact lotting strategy shall be agreed as part of market engagement/consultation.
This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is not an Invitation to Tender. The purpose of this PIN is to serve as an indication of the proposed future procurement by the Council though it may be subject to change and does not constitute any commitment by the Council to undertake a formal public procurement exercise on the basis detailed within this PIN. When the Council is ready to formally commence the procurement process a formal Contract Notice will be advertised thus commencing the procurement process.
Note: Proactis Plaza E-Tender Portal (https://supplierlive.proactisp2p.com/Account/Login) will be used to conduct any proposed future procurement exercise associated with this PIN. Organisations not already registered on the E-Tender Portal are requested to do so as registration will be required, a step by step registration user guide is attached to this PIN
To assist the Council in shaping and developing a sustainable Service provision for the future, the Council is holding a preliminary market consultation event on the 20 September 2018 9.30 – 13.00 hours, at Shapelles, The Bridge, Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed CF82 7ED.
The event will be an information gathering exercise held with those Organisations who express an interest in this notice.
All expressions of interest are to be made by completing the attached form returning to Mrs Helen Sellwood, Principal Procurement Officer, email: sellwhl@caerphilly.gov.uk by no later than 17:00 hours on Monday 17 September 2018.
The Council reserves the right to hold any number of events or information gathering exercises as part of the preliminary market consultation process.
