BCUHB are keen to engage with supplier that are able to support the delivery of a 3in1 Electronic Patient Record incorporating a document repository, e-forms functionality and portal which will:
create e-form templates and associated workflows for the capture of new data and updates
allow existing paper records and new e-forms to be stored and recalled electronically
deliver seamless integration with national and local best of breed systems via an open architecture allowing the transfer of data and documents
enable quick access to the stored comprehensive patient record or its component parts
to present information in a meaningful way to support clinical workflow; presenting to the user appointment lists, recent test results, etc. and provide automated notifications
provide an electronic window that allows clinicians and administrators to view defined information about individual and cohorts of patients in a 'virtual' electronic patient record
meet the national metadata standards, SNOMED CT, HL7 FHIR
Meet existing NHS Wales Data Dictionary standards, and have the flexibility to be configured to incorporate future changes
to support the streamlining of working practices by removing ‘paper’ from the system
provide a detailed audit trail of all access and updates to patient records
support the management of Subject Access Requests including the redaction of information and output to .pdf
be device agnostic
