The Isle of Anglesey County Council wish to set up a Pavement Maintenance Term Service Contract with a suitably experienced Highway Construction and Civil Engineering Contractor. The Contract shall be used to deliver the highway pavement maintenance service, other associated civil works and any other related works required by the Authority.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The Isle of Anglesey County Council wish to set up a Pavement Maintenance Term Service Contract with a suitably experienced Highway Construction and Civil Engineering Contractor. The Contract shall be used to deliver the highway pavement maintenance service, other associated civil works and any other related works required by the Authority. The operations undertaken in the Contract shall generally comprise of Carriageway Resurfacing, Repairs and Patching, Surface Dressing, Slurry Sealing, Road Markings and Studs.

Description of renewals:
The Contractor and the Employer may mutually agree to extend the contract period for a further 24 months based on the success and the performance of the Parties. A joint decision whether to extend shall be made 1 year before the completion date. A further 24 months may then be provided on the same basis.
