Abstract

This Tender includes two contracts (Lots) to provide a supported accommodation scheme to single people who are:• 18+• Who have been assessed as homeless• Have been assessed as having a variety of support needs through the supported accommodation eligibility assessment and panel process.The project will accommodate single people, both male and female, and provide flexible housing related support to help individuals to live independently and move onto suitable, affordable alternative housing. This alternative housing may include, private rented accommodation (including shared properties), social housing or in some cases moving in with family and friends. If appropriate, this may also include recommendation for a placement in alternative supported accommodation or a care setting.The project will be staffed 24 hours a day and all clients will be supported to comply with the terms and conditions and house rules, which include a requirement to engage with the provision of support.AIMS AND OBJECTIVES• To prepare individuals with the necessary skills to transition successfully into independent living. • To support individuals to live independently and move onto alternative, affordable long-term housing.
