Abstract

The Contract is for a solution to provide cloud based hosting, storage and backup services for V2C’s business applications, wide area network and related security services, thin client end-user device solution and associated managed services to implement and support the solution. It is expected that the solution provided will optimally deploy public cloud services and will include migration of email to a public cloud service such as Microsoft Office 365 or Google G Suite. The solution provided will be highly-resilient and should include appropriate disaster recovery and/or business continuity services. Bidders should refer to the Technical Statement of Requirements (“TSoR”) appended at Appendix 2 of this ITT for full details of V2C’s requirements and the services that the successful Bidder will be required to provide under the Contract. V2C’s commitment to deliver ‘Community Benefit’ outcomes is designed to ensure that wider social and economic issues are taken into account when utilising procurement processes for contracts and the spending of public money.

V2C has identified specific Community Benefit commitments required from the Tendering Organisation successful in this procurement process and considers these to be proportionate and relevant to the subject matter.
