Plan 2. Prepare 3. Advertise 4. Handle applications 5. Complete final details and checks 6. Induction Whilst exploring these six stages of recruitment, two other legislation frameworks will be woven into discussion - specifically rules governing data protection and discrimination, both of which significantly impact on a fair recruitment procedure. Delegates will explore the scope and scale of the Equality Act 2010 and its protected characteristics as well as the various types of prohibited behaviours which could lead to litigation for any workplace; data protection discussion will then explore the key concepts of the General Data Protection Regulation and its practical impact on all organisation’s irrespective of their size or sector." Registration/paperwork is from 9:00 to 9:30. The workshop will start promptly at 9:30.
