On the 13 June a new window of The Woodland Investment Grant was launched. With £1.9m funding available in 2022/2023 the scheme offers grants of £40,000 – £250,000 for projects which create new woodlands and/or enhance and expand existing woodlands. These woodlands must have the potential to become part of the National Forest network in the future. This means woodlands that are well-managed, accessible to people and give local communities the opportunity to get involved in woodlands and nature.
