Project Description

A £34.7million new build for Pencoedtre High School, in Barry, has been granted planning permission.
This project is part of the Vale council and Welsh Government 21st century schools investment programme which will also deliver a new building for Whitmore High School and an expansion for Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg, among other projects in the Vale.

Work will include a three-storey modern school building, performance spaces and excellent sporting facilities including a four court sports hall, all-weather hockey floodlit pitch, four games courts and grassed football and rugby pitches.
