Description of the goods or services required
Bridgend County Borough Council (BCBC) on behalf of the South Wales Tourism Marketing Hub, wishes to commission a company with a proven track record for innovation to develop and deliver a series of fresh, creative and engaging bilingual advertising and PR campaigns promoting the Cardiff Capital Region to relevant target consumer markets. The South Wales Tourism Marketing Hub is a new initiative which aims to develop a streamlined, coordinated approach to marketing the Cardiff Capital Region as a destination. A small, but diverse region, four advertising and PR campaigns are required to be delivered over the next 16 month period under the umbrella of the South Wales Tourism Marketing Hub.

Total quantity or scope of tender
The successful company will be required to develop and deliver four separate but related bilingual campaigns with a clear message and which communicate a recognisable regional identity which will engage, delight and build advocacy and evoke positive feelings about the Region. The four themes we have identified are:
- Big Forest Adventure (featuring Valleys Regional Park)
- Big Coast Adventure
- The Big Ticket
- Arc of Legends
The purpose of the campaigns is to generate increased numbers of visitors and spend across the Cardiff Capital Region, to benefit businesses and communities. The call to action will be to visit the campaign website www.visitsouthernwales.com which promotes the wide range of things to see and do in the region.
A maximum fee of £40,000 (ex. VAT) is available for this work which must be completed by November 2020.
