Powys County Council has awarded a single contract to provide Independent Advocacy Service for adults in Powys.
This will be served by a single gateway/triage service to the Provider who will provide Statutory Advocacy under the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act.
The service will include aspects of a wider advocacy service so that citizens seeking information or independent access to advocacy support receive relevant information or sign-posting according to the individual’s needs.
The contract will be for a period of three years with an option to extend for a further two, at the Council's discretion.
