NI Water operates sludge presses in a number of its water treatment plants throughout Northern Ireland. The sludge presses are installed from a variety manufacturers and in order to maintain them at optimum operating levels, they need to be serviced when required and using the correct parts. In addition to this, the cloths need to be changed when they cease to be effective. This tender seeks to identify contractors that can provide maintenance, spare parts and filter cloths for the sludge presses. The contract is split into the following 3 lots: Lot 1 — Supply, delivery and fitting of sludge cloths — generic specification; Lot 2 — Supply, delivery and fitting of sludge cloths — specific specification and Lot 3 — Supply and delivery of spare parts, annual servicing/ maintenance and repair services.
