North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) working for and on behalf of NHS Newcastle Gateshead Clinical Commissioning Group wish to commission an engagement service for the Newcastle Gateshead locality
The aim is to provide an engagement service for Newcastle and Gateshead CCG. The provider will provide coordinated engagement in respect of patient and public involvement across Newcastle and Gateshead in both Newcastle and Gateshead, working in partnership with relevant individuals and organisations as required.
The service is to commence from 1.1.2019 for a period of 3 years and 3 months with an option to extend for 1 year subject to satisfactory performance and at the discretion of the contracting authorities.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) working for and on behalf of NHS Newcastle Gateshead Clinical Commissioning Group wish to commission an Engagement Service for the Newcastle Gateshead locality
The aim is to provide an engagement service for Newcastle and Gateshead CCG. The provider will provide coordinated engagement in respect of patient and public involvement across Newcastle and Gateshead in both Newcastle and Gateshead, working in partnership with relevant individuals and organisations as required.

Under the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012, the Contracting Authority must consider:
