Provision of audio tours for Castell Coch and Plas Mawr

Cadw requires a supplier to provide interpretative audio tours for two properties: Castell Coch, Cardiff and Plas Mawr, Conwy.

Cadw is seeking a suitable supplier to provide two audio tours to lease for a four year period.

The project forms part of Welsh Government’s Historic Environment Strategy for Wales to increase physical and intellectual access to the Welsh historic environment. The project will ensure that Wales’ outstanding heritage is more accessible and enjoyable to visit - for both visitors and people who live in Wales.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:

• Training and recruitment opportunities for the economically inactive/ disadvantaged groups, including Worklessness (Welsh Government Lift Programme), and/or graduates, under graduates placements and/or trainees, and/or apprenticeships etc.

Bidders should consider opportunities for recruiting and training the above groups as part of the workforce delivering this contract / agreement.
