Abstract

South Wales Fire and Rescue Service are seeking quotations for repair works at Pontyclun Fire Station BA Complex. The BA Complex at Pontyclun Fire Station is a training facility used to train new recruits to the Fire Service in South Wales and other Brigades across the country. The rooms within the building are lined with fire retardant tiles to enable fires to be lit throughout the building. This simulates the conditions of entering a burning building and is a crucial facility for the preparation of all recruits. A JCT Minor Works contract will be put in place for the duration of the project, which is expected to be no more than 8 weeks.
