Additional Information
The Newham Foundation, a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee and not having a share capital.
The objects of the Foundation are to:
‘advance education in the London Borough of Newham (the Council), in particular by providing learning facilities and programmes that enable the education of young people’.
The current trustees of the Newham Foundation represent both the Council and the College with the College having 80 % of the membership and the council 20 %. The Grant Agreement runs to the end of March 2017 but with the possibility of a further extension, which will fund the delivery by the Foundation of a range of education outputs to support the successful development and achievement of students in attendance at Newham Collegiate Sixth Form Centre. The conditions of grant to the Foundation will require the Foundation to utilise all grant funding received to deliver education at NCS.

Justification for the award of the contract without prior publication of a contract notice in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU)

b) The products involved are manufactured purely for the purpose of research, experiment, study or
development under the conditions stated in the Directive (for supplies only).

l) The contract falls outside the scope of application of the relevant directive.
