II.2.4) Description of the procurement

The Health Board is seeking to commission support workers to work within the EIP service across North Wales.

Our service users routinely have difficulties in engaging in social interaction with other young people; finding and sustaining meaningful activity, such as community activities, education, voluntary work and paid employment; and engaging in regular exercise and physical activity. Support workers will help in each of these areas by developing collaborative relationships with service users and helping them to clarify their own priorities, find opportunities, engage in relevant activity and sustain their engagement over time. This will require them to work closely with team therapists and case managers. Caseloads will be relatively small, with substantial, regular individual contact time during the week. A full programme of training and ongoing supervision will be provided by the EIP service.
