North of England Commissioning Support is working for and on behalf of NHS England North (Cumbria and North East) and NHS Newcastle Gateshead CCG who wish to commission an alternative provider medical services to replace the existing service. The contract term will be 10 years with effect from 1.10.2018 to 30.9.2028, with an option to extend on an annual basis up to a maximum of 5 years subject to satisfactory financial and contractual performance. Bidders are advised to form their own view on whether TUPE applies, obtaining their own legal advice and due diligence.
