II.1.4) Short description
Southern Water’s current contract for provision of mobile telephony services is due to expire on 30.9.2019 and it is intended that a new contract be awarded by 30.6.2019 to facilitate effective transition. This activity will seek to develop a Framework Agreement to cover the following:
— transition from current supply arrangements, including issue of replacement SIM cards if required,
— supply of SIM cards and dongles,
— SIM cards for specialist requirements (such as telemetry),
— provision of airtime contracts (voice and data),
— Roaming (UK and International),
— provision of a Telephony Expense Management System,
— Lone Worker Service,
— supply of mobile handsets and related accessories (e.g.: car kits) (optional service at Southern Water’s discretion),
— disposal of mobile handsets/accessories.
Southern Water intends to appoint a single supplier.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement

Key requirements will include: value-for-money; seamless service provision (integrating with in-house mobile management processes and systems); guaranteed network availability; speed and accuracy of request fulfilment and issue resolution (including availability of a portal for access by Southern Water’s Service Desk); provision of reporting capability to maximise efficient use of mobile telephony: capability to execute transition and provide added-value services.
Southern Water intends to appoint a single supplier as result of this ITT.
