Abstract

The University wishes to engage an investigator, or a company of investigators, with a proven track record to provide the core requirements which shall include, but are not limited to:

— conduct complex and high risk investigations on behalf of the University in a fair and objective manner. The provider will be required to undertake independent investigations into complaints and allegations of misconduct brought by/against students and by/against members of staff. Such complaints or allegations may be complex, sensitive or pose a high risk to the University. The provider will have the capacity, experience and expertise to conduct complex investigations in a thorough, robust and timely manner and to reach objective conclusions based on the evidence.

— provide training to University staff on how to conduct internal investigations in a fair and objective manner.
