Queens University Belfast is procuring services for the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) analysis of polyA-mRNA and whole exomes (DNA) from samples of total RNA and genomic DNA, respectively, derived from cancer cell lines in the Queen's biobank. The service includes sample quality control, library preparation, and NGS on a suitable sequencing platform and timely transfer of generated data to Queen's. The purpose of this analysis is to support the validation of gene signature biomarkers that are being designed in Queen's for the identification of molecular subtypes of cancer.
