VII.2) Information about modifications
VII.2.1) Description of the modifications
The award value has been updated to reflect new information received as to the number of sites which are to be taken forward for construction. This information was not known at the time of the contract award.
VII.2.2) Reasons for modification
Need for modification brought about by circumstances which a diligent contracting authority/entity could not foresee
Description of the circumstances which rendered the modification necessary and explanation of the unforeseen nature of these circumstances:
It was not known at the time of contract award how many sites would need to be constructed this year as the prioritisation and costing of sites was part of this consultancy package awarded. Now it is known how many sites are intended to be taken forward a costing can be made using tendered prices of the costs for site supervision and safety audits per site.
