Abstract

Provision of a Labour and Skills Gap Analysis (refresh on 2017 analysis). As part of Transport for Wales (TfW) commitment to the Well-Being of Future Generations Act and to ensure TfW can access the appropriate skills throughout its supply chain, a refresh of the skills gap analysis originally undertaken in 2017 is being commissioned. This analysis will build on the original analysis and will be instrumental to TfW and its partner providers in seeking support from the Welsh Government to develop skills in Wales. TfW require a PESTLE type analysis to be taken to analyse external factors that have an impact on TfW's plans. There will be three stages to this work: 1 - First stage to consider the specific labour demand arising from the pipelines of work 2 - Second stage to look the labour supply in the wider Welsh context 3 - Third stage to compare supply and demand to obtain an understanding of the likely skills gaps as well as considering the impact of other competing projects.
