Mid-term Evaluation of LEADER Delivery in Rural Bridgend

Description of the goods or services required

1.1 Bridgend County Borough Council as lead body for the Mid-term Evaluation of LEADER Delivery in Rural Bridgend is seeking to appoint an appropriate delivery body to:

1.1.1 Undertake an evaluation of progress against the implementation of the Local Development Strategy for Rural Bridgend at the mid-term.

• Evaluation of the whole programme delivered to date which will include internal project management and monitoring processes.

• As a detailed case study, a specific evaluation of the 3-year Kenfig Natura 2000 project delivered by the programme which is due to close this year.

1.1.2 Undertake a review of the Local Development Strategy to include as a minimum: the SWOT Analysis, Performance Indicators, Intervention Logic Table, and if necessary, the Delivery Objectives.

1.1.3 Provide recommendations to the LAG to inform an internal refresh of the Local Development Strategy and Intervention Logic Table for the second half of the programme period 2018-2020 inclusive.

1.1.4 Work with the Local Action Group and its admin body staff; project steering groups, contractors and beneficiaries; rural thematic networks; partner organisations working across the LEADER themes; and representatives of the local community including community-based organisations and local elected officials.
