II.2.4) Description of the procurement
YWS are seeking an expert and competent organisation who's required, but not limited to, providing the following services:
— scope, design, tender, appoint sub-contractors and manage schemes of works to deliver the AMP7 Programme
— manage the start to finish of timber sales in to the markets to achieve best value for a range of product types,
— tree specification, purchase, planting, protection and establishment. Inspect, specify and manage works and tasks to maintain a safe tree population through annual tree inspections and associated arboriculture works,
— hard and soft landscaping, management of habitats and vegetation types, improve bio-diversity, boundary management, vegetation management,
— design works, product selection, specification, tender and manage works,
— appointment and management of subcontractors trained and compliant with the work required of them,
— understake management to the UK Woodland Assurance Standard, supporting the maintenance of the UKWAS accreditation, site visits and holding of all relevant documentation,
— maintain by renewal or new applications the necessary legal permission to undertake the woodland management.
