Abstract
This equipment is to expand the current range of materials and material forms (foil) which can be processed by NIR heating at SPECIFIC IKC, an academic and industrial consortium led by Swansea University. SPECIFIC has more than 50 partners from academia, industry, and Government working collaboratively at all levels to develop new technologies, bring them to commercial reality, and create the environment for change. SPECIFIC has strong links with industry, and our strategic partners include Akzo Nobel, NSG Pilkington, Tata Steel and Cardiff University
