Cardiff University Library wishes to secure a contract for the services necessary to provide a staffed service to cover extended Library opening hours across two busy University Library sites.
The staffed service is required to support the 24/7 extended opening hours. The Libraries support a wide range of customers, including University staff and students, and NHS employees based in the adjacent University Hospital of Wales and at other Health Boards across Wales.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
The supplier will provide an extended hours staffing service to Cardiff University Library Services at the Health Library, Cochrane Building, Health campus and the Arts and Social Studies Library, Cathays campus, Cardiff University. As an overview this will include:
- Staffed service:
-Provision of sufficient staff to provide full cover for the extended opening hours outlined above, undertaking the range of duties outlined above.
-Cover for staff absences, including annual leave and sickness absence.
- Option to use the contract to cover other Library extended hours staffing requirements elsewhere on the University campus
