Abstract

NHS Wales Health Collaborative hosted by Public Health Wales wishes to invite proposals for the evaluation of The Macmillan Primary Care Cancer Framework for Wales programme in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support. A detailed interim report on the programme’s work is required by 30th April 2020 to capture impact and inform sustainability preparations for the programme beyond 2020. A full and final report will be required by 20th December 2020. The challenge for the evaluator is to conduct both an outcome and process based evaluation of the programme. We require a robust and independent assessment of the impact across primary care and health boards in Wales and one which also draws out the key learning about what works, for whom in what circumstances. Given the long-term nature of the programme, we are looking for an evaluator who will work with us in an iterative and timely manner to feedback formative learning into the programme to support the final stages of the programme term.
