Project Background
Swansea Waterfront is a major regeneration project currently being delivered by Welsh Government and has become one of Wales’ premier waterfront destinations, acting as a catalyst for the wider regeneration of Swansea and the surrounding area. It has set ambitious new standards for innovation and design, creating a high-quality waterfront environment that is making Swansea an international destination.
SA1 has become a fully integrated mixed-use development comprising the renovating of existing and the construction of new commercial, residential, retail and leisure facilities. Green areas such as the new Technium and Ice House Squares and public art provide a vibrant and attractive environment in which to live, work or visit.
The next phases of construction will include the provision of further site infrastructure, new highways, upgrading of existing highways, drainage and public realm, footway/cycleway bridge, culverts, landscaping and maritime related works.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
