Abstract

Bridgend County Borough Council as lead body for the Resilient Economy- Local Supply Chains project is seeking to appoint an appropriate Service Provider to deliver a comprehensive programme of work with small, new and hard-to-reach producers of land-based goods. The Service Provider will facilitate engagement and other types of support for those producers to increase participation, maximise economies of scale and increase opportunities; deliver or commission market research and communications activities; develop robust action plans and business cases and submit well evidenced funding applications for a range of co-operation projects. The programme will operate in the Rural Development Programme areas of Bridgend, Caerphilly & Blaenau Gwent, Cwm Taf (Merthyr Tydfil & Rhondda Cynon Taf), Vale of Usk (Monmouthshire & Newport), Neath Port Talbot, Powys, Torfaen and the Vale of Glamorgan CPV: 79410000, 79411100, 79000000.
