Description of the goods or services required

Cwmpas wishes to engage in a three-year strategic partnership with the selected ICT support supplier. Cwmpas currently employs approximately 103 staff and some 3rd party consultants who work on our behalf and occasionally access our systems.

We are seeking an experienced and innovative supplier to invest in, develop and provide a range of ICT support services through a strategic partnering arrangement, based on using an external ICT support provider to complement Cwmpas’ ICT Manager.

In addition, the strategic partner is expected to apply its experience of using innovative ICT services to enable the achievement of strategic goals, including service improvements and cost savings. The principal outputs of the ICT Service Contract will be to maintain and improve relevance, costs, effectiveness, and resilience of the ICT services.

Total quantity or scope of tender

Cwmpas wishes to engage in a three-year strategic partnership with the selected ICT support supplier. Due to Cwmpas’ current funding cycle, and significant business and infrastructure changes there will need to be a review of the contract and a break clause in November 2023 and November 2024.

To supply:-

1) Comprehensive 1st, 2nd and 3rd line ICT support

2) Infrastructure and backup support

3) Colocation of infrastructure for a maximum of 12 months

4) 30 days day rate basis for any project work undertaken by the supplier e.g. for Office Closures and new Cloud Infrastructure Solution in 2023.

In summary:

• 3 year contract award for ICT support given to selected ICT support supplier

• 12 month break clause based on start date

• 24 month break clause based on start date

• 36 month contract end date based on start date / re-tendering process to occur or possible extension.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

1) Any Supplier wishing to submit a Tender must register their interest via Sell2Wales.

2) All completed Tender documentation must be submitted electronically via the Sell2WWales ‘Electronic Postbox’ facility by 2.00pm on 30/09/22.

3) Suppliers should complete and submit the attached document entitled ‘Cwmpas ICT Support 0822, Tender Pricing & Response’.
