Questions and Answers
The following responses were submitted within the deadline via an email so are being published in this way to ensure all interested parties can view the responses at the same time.
1. Are the targets as stated in Section 4. an absolute? i.e. does not meeting one or more of the key objectives jeopardise contract payment?
We are interested in how you can demonstrate your commitment to achieving the targets stated in section 4. We would anticipate meeting or exceeding them. We do not have a final view on commercial and payment terms as this can be part of the bidding process. For example, as stated in section 7, we are also interested in your willingness to engage on a risk / reward basis.
2. Are those targets based on experience/measurement of previous year’s events?
Yes, the targets are based on previous year’s events. For example, there were over 100 speakers at Digital 2015 and 1700 individual delegates.
3. To meet the £120K sponsorship target will the appointed contractor have access to Innovation Point networks/contacts/previous sponsors etc. and authority to act as Innovation Point's representative?
Existing databases held by Innovation Point will be available to the appointed contractor to act on our behalf.
4. Website and Apps - Is there a fixed requirement to supply both and are there any defined specifications or requirements for these elements?
We require both an event website and app. There are no defined requirements at this stage as we are interested to hear any potential bidder’s ideas on how these could be delivered.
5. Print deliverables - do you have any spec or requirements regarding print collateral and volume etc.?
We do not have specific requirements relating to print collateral / volume as owing to the digital nature of the event, we would anticipate the majority of associated materials would be available online. However, this is for bidders to propose.
6. If introducing a charging structure for 2016 do you still view the target of 1000 delegates p/day being maintained/achievable?
We believe that the quality of the 2015 event would have attracted a paying audience. We are keen to pursue this and welcome ideas from bidders on how this can be achieved.
