Archaeological fieldwork is the cornerstone of research in the discipline and requires systematic geospatial surveying. Advances in technology mean that this refresh in equipment is necessary so that we are at the cutting edge of industry practice and remain competitive. Currently, we have outdated survey equipment to conduct in-field Archaeological research and training. We require a refresh of field survey equipment to bring us in line with current and best practices in the Archaeology profession. 2.2 The survey equipment must be suitable for all weather fieldwork in the UK in urban and rural environments. Unfortunately, during the due diligence period following this tender, it has come to light that the sum of grant funding used to fund this purchase is lower than expected. This means that the customer has had to review the list of equipment and amend to bring in line with the levels of funding we have available. Due to this, we are cancelling the tender.

If you would still like to submit a bid for the amended list of equipment, please look out for the new advert on Sell2Wales. The procurement reference for this new opportunity will be CU.1567.RR.
