Abstract

The aim of the project is to construct Natural Flood Management measures in the water catchment area of Gwyddelwern Works include: Rocky leaky dams in the lower reaches of the watercourse, within the meander area Timber leaky debris dams, for flood low and debris capture within the Beachwood plantation Approx 9.5 hectares to have Soil Aeration and liming 1No concrete channel for flow monitoring located near the soil aeration and liming within the lower watercourse area. Precise location to be confirmed subject to further survey. Bunded storage area crest height 1.5m New 300mm piped inlet running through the proposed bund into existing pond with 2 no headwall. An open rock channel, connecting existing pond with new pond. New pond to also include an embayment and act as a livestock drinking area for adjacent landowner. 1no bun at downstream end of pond.

The aim of the project is to construct Natural Flood Management measures in the water catchment area of Gwyddelwern

Works include:

Rocky leaky dams in the lower reaches of the watercourse, within the meander area

2. If you are already registered on the Proactis portal please Login and start at Step 14 of these instructions if not go to STEP 3

3. Click the “Sign Up” button at the bottom of the window
