Abstract

The purpose of the regeneration is to carry out works to upgrade Thermal Value of the existing 34nr Properties. Properties within regeneration scheme are tenanted 2/3 Bed semi-detached properties and 2 storey flats. External wall fabric is traditional cavity wall construction made up of an internal blockwork skin, 50mm cavity and a pebble dashed blockwork / brickwork external façade. Window specification is taken from Rehau Windows. We will accept any other system/manufacturer that is equal in specification, as checked by the PM, should the tendering contractor wish to put forward in their tender submission. The Contractor shall not use any materials on site unless it is specified in their schedule, without the prior approval in writing by the Project Manager. Remove existing windows and replace with new double glazed white PVCu windows. See window sections for details. Bidders must be must be FENSA registered. Works as detailed in this specification.

Description of the goods or services required

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

Welfare and scaffolding will be provided by the main contractor.

The Contractor is responsible for taking all final measurements and must visit site to determine accurate site dimensions and quantities as required. No extras will be allowed arising from information which could have been gained through a proper site inspection.

Windows shall be constructed of PVCu with steel reinforcement to frames. The material shall be white.

Bidders must be must be FENSA registered.

Site visits may be arranged to assist with the detail required for tendering. Ascertain the nature of the site, access thereto and all local conditions and restrictions and availability of resources likely to affect the execution of the Works. Inspection of the site and its buildings may be made strictly only by appointment with Mark Robinson Tel: 07815652215.
