We are a web / print design and
copywriting agency based near Abergavenny and we do things a little differently
– we are a husband and wife team who are both experienced journalists and we
design marketing materials around the content first (pretty design comes
afterwards!).
Jonah Webb has more than 20 years’
design experience and he offers both web and print design. He’s a member of the
UKWDA (UK Web Design Association). Nancy Cavill has more than 17 years’
experience as a writer for newspapers, magazines and now online. She handles
our web content writing and offers advice on social media strategy.
As a fledgling firm in 2011 we signed
up to Sell2Wales despite being a little wary of the tendering process. While we
don’t bid for large jobs we have been pleasantly surprised to find that there
are many smaller jobs we can bid for – from web projects to web editing and
copywriting and also print design contracts.
Since joining Sell2Wales Jonah has
attended a ‘how to tender’ workshop and we have been able to bid for small
contracts with confidence as a result of this.
We also appreciate that having a
profile on Sell2Wales is effectively a free marketing tool which is useful for
our business. It gives us a platform and presence across Wales that we would
not otherwise have.
It’s great to keep an eye on what
work is out there and get an idea of who needs services like the ones we offer.
