Each year Academi Wales designs, commissions and delivers a significant number of learning and development initiatives comprising a blend of short programmes, organisational change interventions, a number of iconic events, a suite of high-quality publications and e-enabled development which are all focussed on building the knowledge, skills and behaviours of managers and leaders. The aim of this contract is to secure a venue for hosting the One Welsh Public Service Leadership Summer School for 2025. This will be a 4-day residential event Tuesday – Friday for the W/C 30th June – 4th July for around 180 participants. (The venue would be required on Monday 30th for event set up). Brief outline of requirements: Strong Wi-Fi Plenary room large enough to accommodate up to 180 participants, 23 tables cabaret style, staging and space for simultaneous translation and AV/filming crew A room adjacent to the main hall with sufficient space to establish a main reception All facilities/rooms to be within close proximity and walking distance of main hall Up to 23 syndicate workshop/facilitator smaller rooms On-site catering for up to 180 people per day On-suite single occupancy accommodation (dbb) for 180, with availability of disabled access if required. Ample car parking Strong public transport links Access to Student Union for socialising Location of work - South/Mid Wales
