Description:
Purpose of This Tender We are seeking a suitably skilled and experienced supplier to develop a suite of bespoke, concise and engaging “bite sized” digital resources such as animations, videos, storyboards, infographics in both English and Welsh, that promote the safe use of AI in social care. These resources must be adaptable for use across multiple communication channels and based on existing guidance from within Social Care Wales and the wider sector (links provided in specification). Aims and Objectives The aims of this contract are to: - Promote the safe and responsible use of AI in social care by making guidance accessible and practical. - Translate existing AI guidance into a series of concise, engaging, and bespoke “bite-sized” digital resources tailored for social care professionals in Wales. - Support social care professionals in adopting AI tools confidently and ethically in their daily practice. The objectives of this contract are to: - Develop original, bilingual and accessible digital resources that communicate key messages from existing AI guidance in a clear and engaging way. - Ensure content is specific to the Welsh social care context and appealing to busy social care professionals, avoiding technical jargon and lengthy documents. - Distribute these resources across multiple communication channels to maximise reach and impact. - Highlight both the benefits and limitations of AI tools, fostering informed decision-making. - Encourage safe, responsible, and ethical AI practices aligned with sector standards and organisational values. What is required / ‘The Requirements’ The Supplier will: 1.Extract key themes (6 “dos and don’ts”, and 19 “take note”) from existing guidance on the safe use of AI in social care (see but don’t limit research to links provided in section 2.1) 2.Design and produce a suite of bilingual “bite-sized” digital assets in both English and Welsh that are clear, engaging, and accessible, such as: - Short 2D animations or explainer videos (up to 2 minutes maximum) - Infographics summarising key points. - Storyboards or posters for visual storytelling. - Social media graphics and templates. - Presentation-ready slides. ~~Ensure assets are relevant to the Welsh social care sector. ~~Ensure assets are suitable for multiple uses, including documents, presentations, social media, and as shareable resources for other social care organisations. - Collaborate with Social Care Wales to ensures alignment with on branding, tone of voice, style etc. - Deliver assets in reusable formats that meet accessibility standards and can be easily distributed. - Conduct high-level user testing of draft resources in both English and Welsh with a small sample of social care professionals identified by Social Care Wales. The purpose of this testing is to confirm that the key messages are clear and easily understood by non-technical audiences, for example: Present a draft resource (e.g., poster, infographic, short animation) and ask users “Do you understand the message here?” or similar clarity-focused questions. - Capture feedback from user testing and collaborate with Social Care Wales to agree on necessary adjustments before final delivery. - Submit final versions in both English and Welsh in reusable, shareable formats.
