Description:

Riverway Playground has now been closed for almost five years following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. During this prolonged period of closure, the site has significantly deteriorated. Much of the existing equipment is now unsafe, no longer compliant with modern safety standards, and beyond economical repair. As a result, the playground requires a full and comprehensive redevelopment to ensure it can once again provide a safe, accessible, and high-quality play environment for children and families. Investment in a complete redesign and replacement of equipment, surfacing, and infrastructure is essential to restore the space as a valuable community asset.
