Description:

To deliver and manage the Skills for Success programme across Wales, providing a comprehensive workforce development service for the food and drink manufacturing and processing sector. This includes undertaking business needs assessments, developing tailored training plans, delivering industry-relevant training, supporting recruitment initiatives, engaging with schools and young people, and promoting career opportunities within the sector. All activities must align with Welsh Government priorities relating to skills, sustainability, innovation, fair work, and the foundational economy. Also there is a requirement to ensure robust programme management, monitoring and reporting against agreed performance indicators, collaborate with other Welsh Government support programmes, provide bilingual Welsh and English services in line with Welsh Language Standards, maintain appropriate data protection and security arrangements, and demonstrate value for money through efficient delivery and measurable outcomes for businesses, learners, and the wider food and drink sector.
