Grwp Llandrillo Menai has a requirement for Contract Services to assist with the maintenance and management of a large educational farm at Glynllifon near Caernarfon at LL54 5DU Contracting Services work will include all field and tillage work carried out on the farm and forest as directed by the Farm and Forestry Manager. Contract work will include the following: • Cutting silage • Raking silage • Lifting silage [clamp] • Buck-raking silage into silage clamp • Carting silage [trailers] • Big baling and wrapping silage • Muck spreading • Ploughing, disking, power harrowing • Hedge cutting • Direct drilling seed • Hire of 360 excavators • Topping weeds Contractor will be expected to supply machinery and operator in response to demand within a reasonable timescale.
