Description:

DW is seeking the services of a chartered surveyor who will advise Directors and staff regarding its premises options with the following aims and objectives: Aim To enable the Board of Directors to make an informed decision regarding the most appropriate option regarding future property arrangements Objectives • To undertake a survey of the property and assess its current rental value, identify any dilapidations and advise on remedial action and costs • To assess and advise on DW’s property requirements based on current staffing levels • To advise on options for under letting the property and potential rental income • To assist with identifying any suitable alternative properties in the area • To negotiate with the Landlord on DW’s behalf regarding the preferred option • To provide ongoing advice and support Output A Report to be presented to the Board outlining findings from the survey with recommendations for further action Outcomes The expected outcomes of the commission are: • An agreed way forward for the organisation regarding sustainable property arrangements in line with DW’s principles and values and legal requirements concerning the lease
