Description:
Aston Martin are now ready to start the procurement of the Phase 1 Conversion activity to the St Athan MOD Superhangar Facility and they are inviting suitably experienced national and local construction companies to register their interest in tendering for this work. This initial phase of work is to create a Showroom & VIP Area on one side of the existing front office block main reception, and a Kitchen / servery / restaurant area on the other side. Both these areas require a high standard of fit and finish. Also, office area refurbishment and ancillary work will be included in the ITT, which equates to an overall contract value of £2M to £3.8M. This Phase 1 activity will provide the accommodation for receiving potential clients, showcasing the product range, staff administration and welfare. The Project involves modifications to an existing building to create new accommodation over two floors and will be fully constructed and fitted by the successful contractor ready for occupation. The main contract terms will be based upon a JCT 2011 Design & Build form and the contract award is anticipated September 2016. AML will have access to these Phase 1 areas from September, and the successful supplier would be expected to start work at the earliest opportunity. If you are interested in receiving a PQQ & NDA from AML for this tendering process, please use the Sell2Wales site to confirm your interest and to access these AML documents. Full instructions and timescales for PQQ response and the intended ITT process will be contained in the PQQ documentation.
