The Generic Support Service is expected to provide it’s homeless related support service across all client categories, unless customer ‘need’ requires them to be signposted to a more specialist support service.

-Promote and maintain independence
-Prevent homelessness
The aims of the SP Programme are to:

-Help people to secure and maintain their home, by
helping to maximise people’s income, improve their confidence and skills, and enable them to engage with wider programmes to access training and job opportunities.
-Ensure high quality services, which are delivered as efficiently and effectively as possible through joint working between organisations which plan and fund services and those that provide services.
