The products involved are manufactured purely for the purpose of research, experiment, study or development under the condition stated in the Directive (for supplies only)
Explanation:
The manufacture and production of the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients for the purposes of the AMPA Trial, are products which are being manufactured purely for research purposes. With such research products as manufactured to GMP are intended to be solely used in the academic led clinical trial, known with Clinical Trial Acronym AMPA and in respect of the AMPA Trial Cardiff University is the academic Sponsor. With Sponsor being as is defined in the Research Governance Framework for Health and Social Care Research 2020.
