The impact of severely reduced theatre activity in the Health Board during the Covid19 pandemic has worsened the position to the point where traditional solutions to lengthy and high-volume waiting lists are insufficient and

Given the urgent need to prioritise patient care and the lack of an existing contract/framework agreement being available, several providers were engaged with to establish their capacity to support the Health Boards need.
